I moved around some of the checkpoints:
The pearl street one is now in the proper place, which is going to be at the top of a parking garage near Spruce and Broadway.
The KOM checkpoint has been moved from beach park to Sumac and Baseline (chataqua), to better represent the KOM classification.
The checkpoint at folsom and pearl is the same, and is finalized
The checkpoint on campus is still up in the air. It is currently at the engineering building, but WILL CHANGE. Check back Saturday morning for its final location.
Post Race Events:
Depending on the turnout i might host a post-race party, which will lead up to the ...

Definitely looking forward to this and hoping to win both white and blue spoke cards, but white is my top priority.
what's the best place for a spectator to be for this? i wanna come watch and hang out, but don't wanna ride in the thing...

I don't know of a really good place, but along a major road leading to or away from any checkpoint would be a good bet.
I may be riding with a Helmet Hero, but I don't know just yet.

-> Veganboyjosh: you should show up early maybe like 1245, and if someone doesnt show up you could run a checkpoint, otherwise the best spot is probably the start/finish for spectating.

Also im just wondering how everyone here heard about the event. Itll help me plan my strategy to get even more exposure next month.

I ran into some guys at Performance Cycles who told me about it and later found out more from JJ's. I've already told a few of my buddies who plan on coming and I sure hope there is a good turnout.
I will indeed be riding with a Helmet Hero and will be filming whole event, but haven't decided helmet or frame mount.
Frame mount will be better picture, but I don't know if I can get one in time. I have the helmet mount already, but I don't know of a location to get them from other than off the internets.
