Race! Sunday! Bring Money!

The race this Sunday is a supermarket sweep style affair. Meet 1pm at the fuffalo on campus, race at 130. Trix are at 1 if you get down like that. Anyway, you'll have to buy a nonperishable item for the food bank at each of 5 convenience stores. Smelly Deli on the Hill, Delilahs on the Hill, Lolitas on Pearl, Boulder Mart on Pearl and Boulder Gas at Baseline and 27th. We'll have a map and a flyer posted later tonight as well as the food items the food bank is looking for. Expect to spend about $10 or $15 between the five gas stations. Be sure to get a receipt at each spot so we can tell you didn't pull a sheisty 5 item buy at one of the stores. We have rumors of Red Bull being a beverage sponsor and of Installation/Satellite giving a pair of vans to the winner. Stay tuned.

\\Format overhaul is in order.

So for now, i will only be giving out Stage winner cards, and a RaceWinner card. ill still save all of the stats. Im doing this for a few reasons. First is that getting classification leader cards doesnt really make sense until the end of the 3rd race. Also, its kinda complicated, and it sucks for people that miss out on one race.

So for now just show up and race your hardest, and maybe down the line i will compile stats and announce winners for classifications.

Ive been working on getting some real sponsorship. Im collaborating with Devansky over at Satellite/Installation to get the RaceWinner a coupon good for one pair of vans shoes (approx value 45~50$).

Also thanks to Casey's efforts our next race will be fueled by RedBull !! (No offense to Rockstar (last race sponsor), but i think they are kinda gross).

Date for the next race is Feb 15th AKA 3rd Sunday of every month. Time is 12:30 trix, 1pm reg, 1:30 race.

BAC \\v2.3 Jan 17th

Race is this saturday, ignore the date on the flier i passed out, i messed up the date again, its actually on the 17th. Starting in February and moving forward all races will be on the third SUNDAY of the month unless otherwise mentioned!

Im not doing checkpoints this time, mainly because its cold, but also because only 4 people finished the last race. So those 4 will duke it out to determine an overall winner.

DONT WORRY if your not one of the 4 who finished last race, there will still be alot to do/win. So show up at the folsom field buffalo. From there we will be riding somewhere (probably moorhead) to do sprints.

We should all be leaving the buffalo at around 1:30.

Im pretty sure february will be the Denver v. Boulder race, not sure yet, will keep everyone posted on developments.
